ERacer Aircraft
Jan - Feb 2025
The winter weather made things a little difficult this year but we managed to get the ERacer out a few times for some exercise. The aircraft continues to perform great and I am looking forward to the warmer weather.
Mar - April 2025
March always brings some good weather and it is our annual condition inspection month. This year will include a full tire change during the inspection.
April brought us to the 2025 Bahama Bash but due to an internal voltage regulator issue and the inability to get a replacement part, we decided to fly commercial to this years Bash. However, we had an amazing time with canard friends as usual!
Summer, 2025
We had a great ERacer BBQ this year. The 13th annual Canards over Georgia Fly-in BBQ was smaller
than normal but we had a few airplanes fly in and quite of few people drive in. The weather was
beautiful and the food was great as usual. Sorry to say it will be our last BBQ.
September 2025,
On September 5th, while Barbara I were flying to Mt Pleasant SC to visit my daughter and her family, we had a little mishap with our beloved ERacer. Upon landing on the runway, we experienced a nose gear colapse and subsequently veered off the runway into some high grass. Luckily the terrain was relatively smooth but the aircraft sustained major damage. The main gear were basically bent backward ripping part of the lower fuselage open and the right wing was broken. We have decided to not rebuild the aircraft but will be parting it out.
I will continue to keep this website and give service to ERacer builders. I will give more information soon.
